Hi!  My name is Daniella Garcia, I am a native Texan, and a 3rd year social work student at the University of Texas at Austin.  I am one of the communications managers on the PUC Mexico 2017-2018 team.  I joined PUC, because I believe it aligns with my goal as a future social worker of giving back and supporting those in need by working directly with communities.  I am also excited for the unique experience that the PUC program creates which allows you to develop an array of valuable skills such as community engagement, leadership, and problem solving that could translate into any career.  Outside of the class I enjoy volunteering, traveling, being outdoors, and listening to live music.  I’m looking forward to growing with my team and working with them to make a positive impact on the community of Suchilquitongo.
